School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Book Week

Date: Term 3 Week 5

Time: Book Week Parade is from 12:15pm-1:00pm

Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate our love of reading. Staff and students from K-6 come dressed in their favourite book characters and take part in the CPS Book Week Parade down Kendal Street. This is a wonderful community event involving families and local businesses.

Open Day

Date: Term 3 Week 3

Time: 1:55pm-3:10pm

Cowra Public School Open Day is an opportunity for students, parents and carers to get to know our school. This is held annually during Public Education Week. Families are invited to come along and share a picnic recess with their child/children and tour our beautiful classrooms and learning spaces. We also offer personalised tours for new and prospective families. Contact us to book a tour.

P&C Meetings

Date: Wednesdays in Week 2 and Week 6 of each Term

Time: 6:00pm -7:00pm

Join our vibrant P&C. Meetings are held in Week 2 and Week 6 of every term at the Cowra Bowling Club. Parents and carers are welcome to attend. Our P&C run several fundraising events throughout the year including the Mothers and Fathers Day Stalls, a Halloween Disco and a Movie Night (pictured).
